Life after the United States Navy

This narrative of my "post service" career is still being written!
Like most personal WEB SITES this page will grow with time and opportunity. This page is in the construction pipeline. . .

Your patience is appreciated.

Topics to be expounded upon in this area:

Transition from career military to the world of civilians!
74-77 Tarleton State University - Stephenville, Texas - B.B.A.
Thirty-three months of intensive study with three kids at home in school, a ranch with cowherd to look after and the care of aging parents....

1978 Raytheon Educational Services Company - El Paso IHAWK
Six months of learning to teach this defense system to the Imperial Iranian Air Force (in country) including an intro to Farsi language & customs. Shaw Palavi bailed out and I never deployed on this mission...[and trying to pay off my losses from an ill-fated cattle operation]

79-81 Texas Instruments & GSI - Atlantic & Gulf of Mexico
(NORDA Acoustics & Marine Seismic)
"Back to sea duty" as a civilian.  Many an interesting experience here!

82-86 Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO)
Marine Seismic worldwide Best "civilian" job of all.  Got paid well for doing what I loved as a 'career' sailor!

    30 June 1986 R E T I R E D
Now I learn what commitment and work is all about. Volunteerism?

Activities: family, friends and veteran group involvement equals much to recall and document as time and motivation allows.
